The door swung wide open, revealing darkness everywhere. Yuvaan snapped his head sideways to inquire about it with his brother, but they weren't visible. Ruhi checked her side too and realized that her sister-in-law and brother-in-law were nowhere to be seen. She looked at her husband and wiggled her eyebrow.

"Where is everyone? Why are there no lights? Yuvaan, everything will be okay, right? Please don't go anywhere—" Ruhi tried to hold his hand, but Ruhaan began crying, immediately pulling their attention toward him. Yuvaan swung him gently in his arms while patting and caressing his back.
