2. Her Saviour

"Hello, I'm IPS Shivansh Rajawat's father. Can i talk to him? Actually his mobile is off for a few hours. Please can you give him the call!"

Ram called in the office where at this time his son was posted. The man who was on call hesitated but then he didn't want to give any fake news to them as already shivansh's condition was not good and moreover he is admitted in hospital too.

"Sorry sir you can't talk to him at this time. Shivansh sir is not available. He_he is in a meeting with the officers. I will inform you once he returns back." Changing the words he spoke out and soon cut the call.

"What happened? Where is he?" A worried Mita came near her husband with her crying grandson. She was trying to calm him down but today he was just not stopping, it was like he was missing his father very much.

"He's busy, They said that he will be available after sometime. Shravan let's go out baby. Dadu will buy chocolates for you!" He tried to divert him and so walking outside the house they decided to play with him in the fresh air.

"Nothing to worry about, he is out of danger now. Jiya is doing the dressings of his wounds and he will get back to senses soon." Varun inhaled a deep breath of relief. The lady beside him rested her palm on his shoulder giving him the assuring nod.

"I was scared. If anything would have happened to him then__"

"Relax, don't think like this. Everything is fine now." It was Nikita, the three year elder sister of Shivansh.

"Did you inform mom-dad about this?" Nikita asked but he shook his head and understood why.

"Good! They would have panicked unnecessarily. Already Pari's death had shook everyone and now Shivansh's condition. I just can't take this all. Only a few months ago our lives were perfect and now suddenly everything is messed up."

Nikita's eyes got moistened as tears welled up. She sat beside her husband who was in the same condition. After Pari's death everyone had gone into grief. In the early days Shivansh was not in his senses as he had gotten the biggest shock. He was totally numb to react to anything.

His grief hadn't vanished but it had been suppressed deep down in his heart under the responsibility of his little son who was six months old at the time when Pari left them.

❁❁❁

On the bed Shivansh was laying unconscious, his forehead was covered with white bandage as the side was bleeding and his wound was also deep. Seeing his face none could guess what's going on in his heart, none could guess from how much he had been going through from the last few months. His happy married life was destroyed by that single accident, he lost the most precious person of his life and his child lost his mother. How unlucky they are!

A lone tear drop left from his eye but a palm came to wipe it. The girl who was still sitting there and observing him got up. She was confused little but then thought that he must be facing some problem.

"Are you fine?" Jiya asked while checking him. She gave an injection which again made Shivansh stable. After some time he slowly started opening his eyes.

Jiya's eyes brimmed in happiness seeing him getting consciousness. She carefully held his wrist and checked his pluses, once he woke up completely, she stopped her movements and again asked

"Are you fine? Or are you facing any problem?"

Shivansh looked back at her then his vision caught the empty ward. He inhaled a deep breath and nodded

"I am fine!"

"Okay! By the way this isn't new for me, afterall in every four days you come for a VIP visit still I will ask how are you feeling visiting the same ward again, Mr. Rajawat!"

Her voice was holding so much mischievousness as she was literally teasing him. Shivansh stayed silent as his mind was roaming somewhere else only. He was lost in his own thoughts and was going deep in it until Jiya snapped her fingers in front of him. He jerked out of his trance and then focused on her.

"Where have you lost Mr."

"Thank you for saving my life again." He thanked her with a straight face.

"How rude! Thanks bhi thik se kehene nahi aata. Leave this and take care of yourself. By the way next time if you come here then you won't get me here for your treatment, because I'm going back to my home. I know you will miss me." She said with little giggles.

"Why will I miss you?" Shivansh asked getting confused on her words.

"That you know!" She laughed again making him shake his head. Both were talking when Nikita and Varun entered inside. They both sat on the tiny chairs beside asking about his condition.

"Is everything fine jiya? Any internal injury?" Nikita came near her while asking about her brother.

"Everything is fine ma'am. There's no serious cause but still he has to take care of himself. It's not good to get injuries every four days. Please make your brother understand, he needs to take leave from his work at least for a month."

Jiya suggested, her gaze was fixed on Shivansh. She always felt a different attraction towards him. Whenever he came to the hospital she felt very bad as always he came with a lot of injuries. Sometimes she used to scold him but he never took it seriously. It's been three months since she joined the hospital under Nikita's guidance and proved herself the best one.

"You're right. Even I want to suggest the same. If this continues in such a way then he will have to face a lot of problems. I will talk to him. By the way what did you decide? Are you still planning to leave?"

"I really want to work with you ma'am, but mom has strictly warned me. Can't do anything! Sorry! Bhai is insisting on joining his hospital." She said with little sadness still maintaining a smile on her face. Nikita hugged her as in a few months only but they have developed a good bond.

"Where is the hospital?"

"In delhi, My home town!" Jiya answered with a charming smile.

"Wow, what a coincidence! Even my mom-dad lives there, Shivansh too!"

"Really!?" Jiya's heart was overwhelmed as she looked at Shivansh and then again at Nikita. Nikita passed a nod and both hugged each other.

"Now i will take your leave." Leaving a last glance at Shivansh she left from there.

"Shiv! Please listen to me, take rest for some time. I know your pain but in that don't forget about your little one, he doesn't have anyone else other than you. We all have the sorrow of losing Pari but now we have to forget her and start a new__" Varun tried his best to hold on to his emotions. He knew how tough it was to not let his tears fall down.

"Forget her? Her memories are the only things which are left for me. This Shiv will be dead the day he forgets his Pari" He said in a cold and threatening tone.

❁❁❁

Shivansh came out of the car and stood in front of the big mansion which is his own house. Before every time he used to return there was some kind of excitement in him. He felt like smiling seeing his own home, but this time the situation was not the same. Turning back towards the car he brought out his bags.

His every step was giving him the unbearable pain, each corner of that house has some sweet memories which are feeling horrible to him now. Three months ago left this house for that mission and now after finishing it he again came back from where he was trying to run. While walking inside suddenly his eyes caught the vision of a table. It was in a corner of the garden with a swing beside it. His eyes filled with hot tears as something very precious clicked in his mind.

Those days when he and his Pari used to sit there spending their time together. He never thought that the moments he spent with her will someday give him the unbearable pain.

"Pa_pa!" A sudden melodious voice broke his trance as he snapped his head towards the voice. A little smile formed on his face with tears in his eyes. Shivansh walked near his son and mother.

"How are you mom?" He picked up his son and hugged him near his heart.

"Where is dad?"

"Office. There was some important meeting so he left. How are you? And what's all this? These injuries? How?" Mita touched near his hairline above the hair making him hiss.

"Nothing mom. I want to take some rest, and I will talk to you later." He ignored her and walked inside with his little baby.

Mita herself knew how she was holding back her tears seeing him. Everything has shattered after her daughter's death. Though Pari was her daughter in law, their bond was more than that. Everyone was so much addicted to her that now this addiction is taking their life.

"Shravan missed papa? Papa also missed his baby a lot"

"Aa! Pa__pa!" Baby shravan jumped in his father's arms showing that he missed him a lot. Shivansh pecked a kiss on his baby's cheek and glued him against his chest.

"Papa also missed you baby! Now i will never leave my baby alone. Will always stay with him. Promise!" He peppered his face with soft feathery kisses making him giggle.

Later they laid on the bed, Shravan laid on his father's chest while pinching his cheeks. He babbled against Shivansh's skin making the place wet by his saliva.

"Let's sleep. Today papa & Shravan will sleep together, come!" After some time Shravan fell asleep. Shivansh carefully laid him on the bed, he placed two pillows beside him so that he wouldn't fall. After that he too settled on the bed, resting his back on the headboard he closed his eyes trying to get relax.

"Come, catch me!" Her giggles reverberated as she ran forward with a teasing smile on her face.

Shivansh frowned his and chased to catch her. The next moment she was in his arms and he smirked. His eyes shifted on her lips to which Pari nervously lowered her eyes with a bit of shyness in them.

She giggled and pushed him when he was finally leaning to kiss her. This made him irritated and he stomped his foot like a spoilt kid.

"I will see you!"

"Come, see me!" She said and banged the door of washroom on his face.

"Pari!" A heavily breathing Shivansh jerked out of his sleep, he was drenched in the sweat and eyes were flooding with tears.

His vision roamed through the room in search of her but in return only got the unbearable loneliness. His eyes stucked on the photo which was hanging on the opposite wall. Shivansh covered his son in the quilt and walked near the wall. His head rested against it and the tears rolled down again drowning him in grief.

"Why did you leave me alone? You loved me then why did you left me like this? Why? Instead of bearing this regular pain I should have died with you. Why did you leave me alone?"

How much would he cry on his fate now? Whatever he would do now nothing could bring his Pari back to him. Now this loneliness was a life long. He hadn't thought that one day he would have to pay for loving her.

Everything was blissful in his life until she was there and now after her everything had turned horrible. He was breathing only because of Shravan.

❁❁❁

The blowing wind kissed on the face of a beautiful charming lady giving air to her hairs as it started flying little. She adjusted her hairs again tugging them behind her ear. Later she walked inside a house and directly stopped in the mid of living room.

"I'm back!" A loud yell echoed in the whole living room.

"Maa, billi ghar mein ghus gayi hain!" (Mom, the cat has entered the house)

A man came teasing jiya. Jiya pouted her lips but later ran towards him throwing her both arms around her brother's neck. Jiya's brother adhirup picked her by waist and they both swirled around the hall.

"How are you bhai?"

"I am totally fine and what's about you? How is my baby sister?"

"I'm not baby anymore" She grumbled and continued.

"I missed you a lot. Where is mumma? I want to see her. Mumma!!" Jiya screamed looking here and there as a lady came down with a beautiful smile on her face.

"Jiya! How are you, beta? You took so much time!"

"Sorry mumma! But promise now I won't leave you. We will do so much fun." Both the mother and daughter duo hugged each other. Jiya opened her arm and pulled her brother in a tight hug.

Her body touched against the soft mattress of the bed as she laid on her stomach, her chin resting against the backside of her palm. With closed eyes she began thinking about random things when suddenly her mind occupied with the memory of that day when she had reached in mumbai. The whole incident of that day flashed in front of her eyes like the movie clip making her blush to herself.

"Mr. Akdu!" She whispered and lost in the memories.

It was a fine morning when jiya reached mumbai, after taking a taxi from the airport she directly went to the hotel where she would stay for few days. She safely reached the hotel and took the key of her room from reception as she had already booked the room.

Jiya was looking here and there in the corridor as there were different kind of paintings hanging on the walls. Her steps hurdles as she heard a voice of shooting gun.

A man came running out of the room, he was again and again looking back as if trying to hide from someone. Jiya felt like something was wrong and she came in front of the man to ask if he was fine or not.

"Are you fine, sir? I just heard some shooting sound. What's the matter? Why are you looking scared?"

She concernly asked. The man in front of her was again and again looking behind. Suddenly he saw a shadow and then twisted Jiya's arm. He caged her placing the sharp point of knife on her throat.

"If you love your life then Don't move or else I will cut your throat right here"

"Wha_wh_what are you doing? Leave me. Who are you?"

Jiya's words stammered as she felt her heart beating wildly. She scrunched her eyes tightly trying not to do any movement or that sharp end would cut her in two pieces.

"Leave that girl"

Jiya's eyes flattered as her lashes separated from each other opening them widely. Her eyes laid on the lean figure with well muscled body and handsome face. Everything beside her faded in thin air as soon as she saw him. Her mouth opened in surprise as she felt like living in dream. Now she was feeling like she was a deaf who couldn't hear anything.

Her eyes were stuck with the person who was doing some movements but she was not in senses to realize actually what was happening. Her mouth hung open, eyes holding the surprised emotion and body freezed on one place. At this time she could do only one thing and that is to admire her saviour.

Don't know what happened and how but the moment she got her senses back she was laying in someone's arms. Her eyes locked with two hazel pairs and she began drowning in them again, but this time her trance broke early as that man snapped his fingers in front of her.

"Are you fine?" His strong husky voice shivered her as she fought with her sense to not lose in the trance again.

"I__I am fine! Th_ank you for saving me!" She stammered on her words still managed to complete it.

The man who was none other than Shivansh himself nodded and turned to leave but stopped in mid by jiya's call.

"Why did you kill that man? Who are you? Gangster? Don? Mafia?" Her words didn't surprise him much as today he was not in his uniform and so anyone could think like that. He shook his head and left without giving any reply leaving her confused.

"Ma'am, he is IPS Shivansh Rajawat"

Her trance broke hearing the words from  behind. Jiya stood there smiling like a mad as if she has gotten something very precious. Later looking here and there she walked towards her room.

The very first day in Mumbai brought a kind of adventure with a handsome hero in her life.

Jiya yawned streching her body as the bright light slapped on her face awakening her from her dreams. She welcomed the new day with her ever charming smile. Collecting her all special moments she got down of the bed and walked inside washroom for freshening up herself.

"Shivansh?" Ram's satisfied voice hit in his ears and he walked towards his father. Hugging him after a long time, he gave a fake smile not wanting to make them sad. Though his parents knew what was behind his smile still trying his best to not show his pain to them.

"Are you fine?"

"I'm good and from now I'm not going anywhere" Shivansh said with so much difficulty.

"What does that mean?" Ram and Mita confusingly asked. Mita made her grandson sit on the couch and came near her son. She held his arm and passed a questionable look.

"Can I join your office?"

"Why not? Everything is yours only, but why suddenly? And what about your job?" Ram asked again.

"I'm thinking of resigning. Shravan needs my proper attention at this time, I don't want to lose my child because of my job. I don't want him to feel lonely, I want to spend as much as time with him. You both worked a lot for my baby but now I will take care of him. He will be my only priority"

He said with a straight face. Ram and Mita exchanged looks, they felt the heaviness behind his voice and agreed with him.

"Nice decision. Now I will also get some support. Dono baap bete ek saath office jayenge__"

"Pa! Paa! Bum_bum!"

They heard Shravan calling them while waving his hand. Shivansh smiled with tearful gaze and went near him picking him up in his arms he said.

"Very wrong dad. You forgot about my boy. Ab se dadu, beta aur pota saath mein office jayenge. Our Shravan will also help papa in work, right Shravan?"

In return, Shravan gave his ever charming smile pressing his lips on his father's cheek. Ram and Mita smiled seeing their son smiling after a long time. Though it was a fake one still they were satisfied that he will soon overcome from his grief.
